Cass and Bo

We could not have asked for a prettier day in July. The weather felt more like a spring day than the heart of summer! The family and friends of this bride and groom were grinning from ear to ear, but nobody was smiling more than this bride and groom.

Unfortunately, I was injured. I have been in a walking boot for a few weeks now, but on this day I decided to leave that boot at home. Before the shooting even began, I was regretting that decision. A big thanks to my husband Dan for keeping everyone on track and second shooting all day!

Before the ceremony, we headed out to a few spots on the Nebraska Wesleyan Campus here in Lincoln. Cass and Bo wanted pictures by several significant places on campus. God provided the sky! :) Beautiful!

Everything was set-
The wedding party, the parents, and the kids were ready to go! The details were overseen and everyone was ready to head down the aisle.






The following shots were all taken by my husband on "The Dan Cam". They are beautiful! I couldn't have asked for more. Just look at the excitement on the faces of those in this wedding party!

















The ceremony was held at First United Methodist Church. This church has the most beautiful stained glass on the ceiling. I could not stop looking at it and trying to find a way to include this with the bride and groom. I finally found myself as close to the floor as possible to get Cass and Bo with this canopy of color overhead. The only thing more beautiful than the bride herself and the ceiling above was the church full of love and support for this couple. I confess, even though I didn't know this couple, I found myself swiping at a tear or two this day! :)





After Cass and Bo were announced as husband and wife, the wedding party and family sought a little down time as guests were clearing the church. There were smiles and tears of happiness as everyone came together to congratulate this couple!



















Cass and Bo only asked us to be with them for the first part of the day, but we couldn't resist following them over to the reception for just a COUPLE shots! I was pretty sore by the end of the day, but Dan got some fantastic shots of the cake and head table. I snapped one shot of the couple of the staircase. How could you not?






Thanks Cass and Bo! You were a gracious couple all day and we couldn't have asked for more. We wish you all the happiness in the world. Congrats!
